A note of thanks to Mackie and the fabulous team at Hobson Rosebud. Our bike crew does an annual ride to Rosebud, and this year we stopped in for breakfast. You were incredibly accommodating helping to pre-arrange our service, the team were delightful and patient, the service was super speedy and the food and coffee were delicious. You even had a spot for us to lock up our bikes. Thank you and see you next year!

As one of our peninsula favourites, I got nervous seeing the lower rating. The experience could not have been any more perfect!! So great that I had to write a review immediately!! The service was excellent, the food (eggs benny and a special) was absolutely delicious and great great coffee!

On my way to Fort Nepean, I made a stop at Hobson Rosebud and it turned out to be such a delightful find. What I really loved most was the warmth of the staff—friendly without being overbearing, and genuinely happy to chat or recommend something from the menu. If you’re passing through Rosebud on your way to the tip of the Peninsula, Hobson is absolutely worth pausing for—it’s the kind of place that leaves you smiling as you continue your journey.

Absolutely loved Hobson! Stopped in for breakfast and was seriously impressed — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The coffee was spot on, rich and smooth, just the way I like it. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed morning. Really enjoyed breakfast twice here on our recent quick trip to the Mornington Peninsula. Coffe was good, service great and the food excellent. Scrambled eggs and bacon, smashed avocado on buckwheat and kids enjoyed hot chocolate, bacon, hash browns and pancakes.
